One of the meanings behind the piece was to appreciate the opportunity to explore painting in the past. However, this painting also describes Karen's current feelings. The faces had their eyes closed on one side but, not the other, symbolized Karen's indecisiveness when it comes to career choices during college. The shadow behind the woman holding her neck was a representation of Karen's burden, mostly family expectations and financial struggle after choosing to pursue an art career.

The idea is to build on top of the AI's creativity and express feelings from a human perspective. Nature is powerful and has the ability to restore balance on its own. Nature can survive without humans, can human survive without nature?

No rule canvas, 2023(Collaboration with Gustaf Palm)Acrylic on canvas30 x 24At the beginning of this piece's construction, Gustaf and Karen had decided that they wanted to make an abstract piece together. The principle was both could do whatever they wanted, including covering each other's brush strokes. Once the canvas is saturated with patterns and they realized it is in need of a focus point, which they decide to draw eyes linking together like a strain of DNA. In fact, the eyes are the DNA of the piece.
